We have several volunteer counsellors who offer counselling services which are open to the general public to help with an array of mental health, self-development and eating/food/weight-related issues. Those who wish to are more than welcome to come into the clinic for their session, although we would recommend it through Zoom.

Hi my name is Joe, I am 27 years old and currently working towards a MSc in cognitive behavioural psychotherapy at UCLAN. I hold a degree in neuropsychology and have spent the last three years working as a teaching assistant and support worker. I chose to do my placement at S.E.E.D as I feel the work they are doing for people with eating disorders is vital, and wish to help them in any way I can.
Hi! My name is Linda. I am a counselling student undertaking my placement at SEED. I am a mum of 3 children and a black lab. I love climbing hills – and the view from the top. I have a specific interest in therapies that can support people suffering from eating distress having worked at an in-patient eating disorder unit. My aim in therapy is to get as close as possible to understanding the individual’s unique feelings, meaning and experience so that I can be with them as they explore these in more depth and search to find their own answers.
Hello, I’m Jeremy Winter. I’m training to be a person-centred counsellor and I’m on placement with S.E.E.D. I’m hoping to be able to support people with a number of emotional and psychological issues.
