Following the success and enjoyment from our first ever virtual fundraiser, our Tropic Skincare Fundraiser on Zoom, we held another Tropic fundraiser, but only this time it was focused on makeup! Tropic is a multi-award-winning beauty and skin care brand founded by Susie Ma.
Susie grew up in Australia and explained how being in a tropical climate surrounded by the different types plants and exotic fruits trees was what inspired her to start Tropic.
Susie also believes in the importance of being socially responsible and has worked to make Tropic Skincare a certified carbon neutral business along with ensuring that all of the ingredients are sustainably sourced and “freshly made, cruelty free and natural”, which we completely agree with here at S.E.E.D Lancashire.
The Tropic makeup event was hosted by Carole, one of Tropic Skincare’s ambassadors and her daughter Lizzi, who led a makeup tutorial in addition to providing more information about Tropic, the innovative way in which you can customise the Tropic palettes to make them your own and how their products work especially well for anyone suffering from eczema or sensitive skin.
They also treated us to taste of what’s to come for Tropic’s Christmas Collection which launches this afternoon, 25th September at 1pm!
Additionally, from today, 25th September to Sunday 27th September, 10% of sales made from each Tropic order will be donated to S.E.E.D Lancashire for us to continue to raise money and awareness for the support and education of eating disorders.
The total amount made so far is £280!
A massive thanks to Carole and her daughter Lizzi for hosting the event and for everyone else who joined!
